Chanel – famous brand, founded by a fashion designer named “Coco Chanel”.  The company owns a remarkable logo and specializes in various luxury goods such as:

• handbags
• perfumes
• cosmetics
• ready-to-wear and more.

When it comes to designer of the company, Coco Chanel was the new design introducing personality and efficiently worked as a “chief designer” until her death in year 1971. She revolutionized the whole concept of fashion.

Beginning of the greatest Fashion Empire:

Era of Elegant Clothing:

Paris: In year 1909, Chanel was introduced in the market, a small scale shop was opened in an apartment. Chanel’s clothing designs were tend to be simple rather than goddy in looks. During the phase of World War I, Coco opened Chanel’s another larger shop in front of Ritz Paris Hotel.

In year 1915, after the brokerage of World War I, her fashion became known in 1974 Olympic White Fender Stratocaster (Hendrix!) France as well. The brand was able to mark its own place in everyone’s heart because of simplicity in designing and finest quality in fabric. In 1920s, following the fashion trends, Chanel established its memorable reputation as a brand name. Beaded dresses and two or three piece suits created in that era – are part of modern fashion looks till the time.

Time of Fragrances everywhere:

In year 1921, its the time when Chanel introduced its first perfume in the market i.e. Chanel No. 5. Earnest Beaux created this particular fragrance for Coco and she named the smell after her lucky number 5. The fragrance was no doubt a grand success. Story of fragrances, not end over there in year 1921. Cristalle EDT was designed in year 1974.

Costume Jewelry – not beyond reach:

In year 1924, Chanel introduced her first costume jewelry, a pair of stylish pearl earrings – one black and one white. After that, brand continuously grow up and till the time, it is touching the heights of success.

Chanel – Back to Paris:

In year 1953, Chanel returned to its origin place – Paris. The reason behind coming back to Paris was to find out Christian Dior, now dominating the fashion market. That was the same year, when Chanel became the chief label in fashion market.

Year 1955, was the time when Chanel introduced its EDT Fragrance for men – “A Gentleman’s Cologne”.  Coco was not a lady believing – sit, relax and enjoy. She herself designed the prestigious uniforms for Olympic Airways flight attendants.

Awards were not far away:

Year 1957, was the most memorable year for brand name “Chanel” because in the same year its Spring Collection received the esteemed “Fashion Oscar” award in Dallas.

Story will Never End:

In year 1979, Jan 10: Fashion market lost “Coco” forever, but Chanel as a brand name will alive forever. It’s success will never get dim at any moment.
