My two cents worth: This Schecter Stiletto Elite 5 String Bass Guitar (Black Cherry) was exactly what I was looking for. It does pritty much everything as advertised, which is more than I can say for a lot of other products I have purchased in the realm ofSchecter Stiletto Elite 5 String Bass Guitar (Black Cherry).
If you`re in the market for an electric guitar then you probably want one that is well suited for your taste. There are some made for beginners while others are designed to handle the most expert level skills. Electric guitars are usually a bit slimmer than non-electric guitars and have a shinny finish to them. They are sometimes lighter and require a cord attached to them that plug into a wall. The sound that comes out of an electric guitar is mind boggling, it sounds awesome even if you`re not a pro.
The Squier by Fender mini strat electric guitar is a great one for starters. It has 20 frets and is perfect for smaller hands. Its single coil pickups and master volume and tone controls make it great for anyone trying to pick up the sounds. It is made with rosewood on the fretboard and a hardtail bridge, a maple c-shaped neck helps to support its design.

The Schecter omen 77 string electric guitar is an awesome one for the value. It is made from maple and rosewood and consists of a 25,5 scalot neck and fret board. There are 24 jumbo frets and dual humbuckers with a style bridge for extra support.
Epiphone G-1275 double neck custom electric guitar is a great looking model. It has a mahogany body with a flamed maple top and a heritage cherry finish. It has a set mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard. Featuring a parallelogram inlays and two alnico classic humbuckers. This guitar is finished with chrome hardware for a complete polished look.
The laguna LE50 short scale electric guitar is a nice looking guitar. It has black hardware and a fixed bridge. The fingerboard is made from rosewood and the neck is made from bolted on maple. This guitar is easy to learn on with its lightweight feel and sharp sound quality.
When you are looking for a guitar the best way to meet your match is to ask a music expert for help in finding one. They can put a few in your hands to see which one feels right. Some guitars are made especially for left handed people, so if you are one of those special kinds of people then there is one designed for you. The right guitar will feel great in your hands and will motivate you to want to play it.
The sound of the guitar will vary between models. Try a few out from different price ranges to see if you can tell the difference, chances are if your new to the idea of electric guitars then you probably won`t be able to tell the difference.
I’m ready to buy a decent bass. (schecter stiletto elite series-oh ya!!) I have experience with guitars, bass, and piano, and I know a lot about music theory (I am telling you this so you guys dont tell me to get a 4 string just because I am not an advanced bassist.) so scales and modes are not any problem for me. I have played a 4 string squier for 2 years (groan…) and I never really had the urge to go lower than low E… but I am very into experimental/trippy music and was wondering if i should get a 5 string. Now, I have played a 5 string at guitar center, and while it WAS cool to have those extra low notes- not to mention Low E at fret 5 and low A at fret 10- I thought the width of the neck was a little much because my hands aren’t that big, and I especially noticed that when i was standing up. (base Schecter Stiletto Elite 5 String Bass Guitar (Black Cherry) of palm to tip of middle finger in 7 inches) I have had an experienced master bassists tell me “4 string is the way to go- using a 5 string is like a three some with your girlfriend and her best friend: awesome, but can be distracting from whats really important and should be used sparingly on special occasions.” (think that one over. he said it, not me, lol) 2 other advanced bassists told me that the low B string goes out of tune on 5 strings and that a 5 string neck can really be a chore onstage after playing for a few hours. one of them told me that they NEVER have ever had the urge to go lower that Low E. the other one said that slap/popping on a 5 string was harder as well.that squier I’ve used these last few years was such a piece of crap that drop tuning it was next to impossible, so I never really got a feel for drop tuned 4 strings. Is drop tuning a 4 string good enough? [as to not need a 5 string] and do hipshots help solve this?Don’t tell me “get whatever feels comfortable.” thats true, but not very helpful in this specific situation. a 4 string feels more comfortable, but a 5 string just seems more useful. I am agonizing over this. Please tell me your thoughts on one or both kinds of basses. Feel free to tell me anything about your experiences with either, and please keep in mind the size of my hands. I would be happy with a 4, but I keep picturing me and my band jammin stoned at 2 am with me rumbling the foundation with some great deep lines on a Low B string. also, i am experienced enough to understand most advanced music theory terms, so please dont dumb down your answers. Is having that extra depth worth the wide neck and closer spaced strings? and how often do you use those extra 5 notes? Thank you all VERY much for your time.
