When you’re seeking Fender acoustic guitars to buy online, it’s important that you don’t get ripped off. What this means for you is, on the one hand you do want to find the best deal and the Internet is a great way of doing that; but on the other hand, you might end up buying a Fender acoustic that you never tried out, plus you need to remember that when it comes to musical instruments you get what you pay for. You may get a lot more than you pay for if you shop at an online auction site such as eBay, and they provide ways to minimize the risk of being ripped off. If you choose eBay, always check the seller’s rating. A seller with a high seller rating is just as safe as shopping at a retailer with a high reputation.
Needless to say, one pretty safe way of shopping online for Fender acoustic guitars is to go to the Fender website. If you do this, you can search for Fender-approved dealers in your local area that you can visit either online or in person. You really don’t have to worry much about getting ripped Fender 0115802305 American Special Telecaster Guitar – Olympic White off by these guys. However, keep in mind the rule of thumb that under normal circumstances you don’t want to buy an acoustic guitar for less than $400. You can find plenty of them that are less than that, but they are not of high quality construction or design–not even if they do say “Fender”. You will be compromising sound and physical playing quality by going cheap. However, there are ways of going cheap on price without going cheap on quality.
Now, you can find good Fender acoustic guitars online for under $400, but you have to take some special steps. One of these would be to shop at eBay or another online auction house. Allthough you do have to act with caution when shopping online, eBay remains one of the safest online auction market places on the internet. Use common sense, and you won’t have too much to worry about. Another method is to do an Internet lookup for individuals selling a Fender acoustic guitar. You can check online classified ads, Craig’s List, and so forth. But once again, you run the risk of paying more for something than you should while trying to save money–and that means you would probably end up getting ripped off, either by accident by some ignorant person or on purpose by some low-life person. So eBay is probably a better idea, as eBay has a seller rating system so you can know that you are shopping from a seller with a high approval rating.
If you are looking for an unused guitar, you may want to check out some other places as well; if nothing else just to compare prices. Musician’s Friend is a good site for this. They are like a huge musical instrument and equipment warehouse, and because they have so much volume they can sell most of their merchandise for less than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. There are also plenty of hands-on reviews of instruments and equipment at their website. They will ship what you buy right to your door. And sometimes, they give you free shipping. Check it out as they are known for low prices on new guitars. If you find a cheaper one of a similar model on eBay, you know that you are getting a good price. Give it some time, and check eBay again. You may find a better price in a week or a month. Otherwise, you can be confident that you are getting a good price on Musician’s Friend.
Take your time, shop around, compare prices. It is the only way you can know that you got a good price on your Fender Acoustic Guitar.

No picks rule blues
I’m ordering a custom Fender Stratocaster off of a custom guitar site and I want only two pickups, but I don’t know how the pickup selector switch will work between them. Any ideas how it would work?

Do not buy Fender Mexican Stratocaster Electric Guitar 2001-2002 until you read what I have to say
For $50+ I expected a bit more sound/variation out of this amp even for its size.
I like to practise my rock and blues late at night and do not want to upset my wife and kids, so I tried a Pocket Rock-it, but found it to crack and snap, very annoying. So I found this affordable option and I am very pleased with the sound. It is only for quiet practise, or as I use it more often, for use with a set a headphones. The required 9v battery is still working after a month of use, probably 15 hours. It sounds great, and for the money there is nothing else out there.
The only suggestion I would have is to provide an option for a mini-jack for headphones so an adapter to the 1/4″ receptacle is not needed. But I would definitely highly recommend it for anyone that has similar needs to mine.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I received the mini amp sound wise. I was surprised at how good this small amp actually sounds when I played on it.
Straight out of the shipping box my amp rattled like there was something loose inside the amp itself so I opened up the back and found 1 of the clamps that holds the speakers had came loose inside. I tried to screw the clamp into the same original hole but the particle board had been destroyed in that spot (stripped). I made another hole and reattached the clamp for the speaker, closed the back up again and it plays wonderfully.
For $50+ it sounds fantastic if you don’t have to mess with the screws or the cheap particle board construction its great for quiet practice.
Can use batteries or purchase a wall outlet adaptor for it.
This thing is amazing
The sound that this amp produces is so good you’ll be amazed, it kind of bluesy twangy to very good grunge rocky distortion.
However you need to crank the volume up to get the very best of sounds, it is a bit wide for some guitar cases so carrying it in the case depends on your guitar case.
Very good practice amp, true to its bigger brother
I can’t believe all you get for around $200. For someone who wants to learn the guitar, and does not want to shell out a lot of bucks, this package can’t be beat!
The amp isn’t all that great, but who cares.
Got this guitar package for Christmas (in midnight blue, but oh well), and I am liking this a lot. As other reviewers have stated, you are not getting a $300 guitar and a $100 amp – you are getting a cheapo beginner’s guitar with a wimpy amp.
THAT BEING SAID, it is worth much more than the measly $200 you spend! This is a GREAT package to get for a beginner to the electric guitar. The guitar is sturdy enough to handle some rough playing, and it seems to stay in tune somewhat well. The amp, while not loud or sturdy enough to use in a concert, is fun to mess around with and start experimenting with distortion, etc. I’m sure the picks are fine – I prefer hard picks, so I didn’t even look at the ones in the package. I also didn’t look at the DVD included, having known how to play acoustic for a few years prior.
The bad news: The strings died very quickly for me (both the already string ones and the replacements included). The tuner is finicky at best. The amp will die if you crank the volume and blast away for very long. The strap comes off if you glance at it.
However, for a beginner, this package is perfect. Once you get some practice and feel like moving on, you can get a new tuner, a new amp, and even a new guitar one at a time at your leisure.
TL;DR: This is a great deal for a beginner, well worth the $200.
Ok, first off, even if you are a beginner, I do not recommend this guitar.
Why?
One, this guitar has highly incremental buzz. Most people will tell you when you ask, that this is because of the amp, but this is because this is essentially quite cheaply constructed, and the parts aren’t as good as a lot of others. The strings are too close to the fret, and this is one of the reasons.
Two, cheap materials, as I stated, are troublesome. After owning the guitar for one week, and having to take out and screw in the whammy bar, the screw part of it got stuck in the hole. Not shortly after that, we returned the guitar.
Three, the frets. Many people stated this, and this is a very big problem for anyone. The frets are NOT smooth at ALL and after just one week of use I had scars and a ripped up palm on my hand.
But if you want a good guitar in this price range, for beginners, here’s what I recommend. Get a Fender Squier. At most sites, the base Fender Squier costs $119. About $90 less than this does here, and it has much smoother fret board, but it still has some of the buzz found in this guitar. I also recommend a beginner Epiphone Les Paul or SG.
This is a amazing guitar. I just got it and have been playing it for like 4 hours already. stopped to write this thing up. My fingers hurt! ahaha that’s a sign of becoming a guitarist. well this stuff is great the only thing is i suggest you tune it to the mic and not the outlet. I sold my ps3 to afford this and that was i good move because this is better than any guitar hero i played. I haven’t watched the DVD and don’t intend to, I want to teach myself and have learned about4 chords and 1/2 a intro to Be yourself from audioslave. BUY THIS ITEM!!!! plus it comes with three picks of fender that they sell here for like 7 dollars and there white brown and green but they look shiny marble, i cant explain but they look really cool.
this amp is small in size but full of sound. because of its size there is little bottom end but it still cranks!! very responsive, very clean sounding. this amp is well worth the price.
I got this as a present for my boyfriend, and I know absolutely nothing about guitars and amps. Turns out this was a pretty good amp for just practicing in the house. He loves it, but still has plans on getting the amp of his dreams, so I would totally recommend it for a beginner or just some in house practice but not for shows and stuff. I had no problem with delivery and the product was in perfect condition.
