The total size of this amp is 3” by 4”. I was surprised how potable it was. It is great for traveling. You can carry it throughout the house if you want to play in a certain room. I play bass guitar and it works great with my rogue vb100 (which is the best bass there is)! This amp is good enough for a professional musician whether they are playing bass or guitar!

Which guitar should I get?
I want to decide which guitar I should get. I’m debating between a Fender Statocaster Deluxe (Blackout)http://www.guitarcenter.com/Fender-Deluxe-Blackout-Telecaster-Electric-Guitar-515524-i1371267.gcOr Fender Deluxe Blackout Telecaster Electric Guitar some kind of Ibanez within the same price range ($500-600). I would want the Ibanez mostly for the whammy bar. As for the guitars themselves, I like the Telecaster more, but I can’t put a whammy bar on that one. I’m probably going to play some rock with light distortion, sometimes heavy distortion, and then I’m thinking of getting into blues. So which one do you think I should get?

Fit my jumbo 12 string Takamine well, was kind of snug at the top but better than floating all around in the case I guess. Good item for the cost.

    I love this little thing…

I use it to pratice and the kids still tell me to turn it down!!!!

I’m thinking about taking to the streets and playing blues on the corner. It would be the perfect gift for a street musician.

I was surprised at how MINI the amp really is! When it arrived, I was expecting a bigger amp. It does work with the battery (that comes with it). It does have adjustable volume and tone controls, but there is a buzzing sound with the bass notes that are played on my son’s guitar. We bought it for our 11 year old for his birthday and it is okay for him to practice with, but that is all I recommend it for. At least it will be easy to carry and take with him on any trips.

I bought this for my 11 yr old grandson. He has a larger one for use at home, same brand, and thinks this one is great. His guitar teacher asked for the information so that he could order one since he travels to all of his students’ homes for lessons. We are all very pleased with this amp and would recommend it to others.

I recently moved into an apartment building and with my schedule the only time I have to play guitar is at night. As it turns out my neighbors are not a fan of me cranking it up to 11 on my larger amp so I figured for 35 bucks why not pick up this little thing. Turns out that this little amp has an amazing sound, way better than a lot of larger more expensive “practice amps(5-25W)” out there. Also do not be fooled by its size you can get a lot of volume out of this thing and though I have nto tried it yet I think it could hold its own at a jam session assuming you have a gentle drummer in the room.

Now that I have talked about how great it is I think a little overview of the controls is in order. On the top it has four knobs, one for volume one for tone, one for drive and one for on and off. If you are a gutarist you probably have already realised that it is pretty simple to use and with a few quick adjustments you can have great tone out of the box. Other than that my only gripe and it is not really a gripe is the handle that is billed as “real working” is actually very tiny but would work great if you are GI Joe

    To sum it up:
    Pros:
Sound – better than amps 2-3 times its size and price.
Volume – Works great at low volume to keep the neighbors happy but would be great for jam sessions too
Size – Nice and tiny so easy to carry around

    Cons:
The handle does not actually work
Its small size means that if you are plugged in it tends to get dragged if you move around too much
Doesn’t come with its own power adapter(but it does come with a battery)
