In ‘The Soul of Tone’, author Tom Wheeler has put together an intimate look into the “other” side of the genius that was Leo Fender. From his benchmark amp designs, to the revolutionary impact his amps have had on popular music and the world of Pop Culture, this book does a fine job of covering it all. By the author’s own proclaimation, this book is not intended to be a be-all, end-all definitive guide to the overwhelming minutiae of Fender amps. Instead, it provides us with a lavishly

One word describes the CD Acoustic Soul from IndiaArie… AWESOME!

This CD literally grabs your attention right from the very first note with Video and doesn’t let go until the very last note of the very last song Wonderful, which by the way is another great track.

These days it’s a very rare CD on which every single song is good or better than the one before it. This CD is certainly one of those rare CDs.

Overall Acoustic Soul is excellent from beginning to end. One of those CDs that after a few listens the songs are just etched into your memory. A must have for the Pop fan. Really sensational from beginning to end.

While this entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 4 – Brown Skin, track 7 Fender CD 280SCE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar. Natural – Back To The Middle, and track 16 – Wonderful

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 2 – Video. Great track!
