I love guitars, and there’s nothing like a new electric guitar with a proper set up! Ok need some help guys. I play a fender strat (hot noiseless pups) through a frontman 25r. Sometimes I’ll use my Epi Les Paul custom just for a little different feel (and when I do rhythmy stuff). I know, the amp needs upgrading. I am FENDER CUSTOM BLUES CS STRATOCASTER ELECTRIC GUITAR USA going for a warm bluesy sound. I was looking at possibly a Fender 212 Frontman (Not expensive but extremely powerful) and probably an ibanez ts9 tube screamer to run through as well. Looking at about….$400 probably. would it be better to forego the ts9 and 212 to just buy a weaker power tube amp (which will probably be more expensive?). If so, can anyone give me some suggestions? Keep in mind, I’m a student that’s on a budget but I do play live. Any suggestions, experiences…pretty much any input would be greatly appreciated.
